Custom bracket for 409 stainless exhaust?

I need to make a bracket and weld it to an exhaust system made from 409 stainless. 409 seems to be hard to come by, and I am needing to get this project done.
Is there an alternative common stainless that can be used? C
I thought about using a 300 series and brazing it on with silicon-bronze rod, but this is going to be a hanging support, so strength is a concern.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'd use 309 stainless wire and mild steel for the bracket.

309 will work fine as a filler and be the safest, but 304 can be used without problem for the bracket/hanger.
409 can be welded quite well to 304 and 316. I have used plain 316iL filler in the past to weld 409 pipe to a 304 flange and never saw any issues.
I tend to use 304/316 hangers as I hate the crusting-and-crumbling that immediatly starts happening on mild steel exhaust parts
Bye, Arno.

Yep, that works well too.
