So.....tungsten rides back into lens (wasn't loose, ends up it balled back and grew nodules) to point arc goes out and won't restart. I'm siting there thinking wth?! Well.....no problem! Pull the back cap off and back of tungsten on table to push it back out! Well.....what had HAPPEN was....I turned the gas off, but MAYBE forgot to turn machine off!

HA! Now this is a thread topic that should be sticky!
I'll help ya out with that too....
Why do they use angle in the name angle grinder? Because you're supposed to hold it at an angle away from your face and try to keep the rotational throw away from your body so things don't fly at you! Maybe not the real reason but I'm sure there's some truth....
Why do we have lids with "grind mode"? Because some shirtless idiots in the summer AZ heat (necessary even when angle grinding but I do wear safety glasses and ear plugs!) don't follow the basic concepts of angle grinding so they have things happen like a wire wheel bristle getting embedded in their forehead with a few other darts that didn't quite stick
Wish I had a pic to share before I pulled it out but pulled it out accidentally realizing "that one" really did stick.
And people wonder why we have OSHA.... You're welcome

OHSA,
Allowing the stupid to live long enough to breed.
In days past this would not have happened.
So what do these lucky birthlings do?
They become politicians and OHSA officers.
