I like the CK wedge collets, they hold tight and if something on the torch does loosen you won't ruin the collet. I personally never really damage collets but I won't look back now....wedge is good.

You want some to try shoot me your info..

I'm still a rank amateur welder, but I live in CK's back yard so I was able to pick one up at the LWS to try.
I like them so far, and they do seem to give a positive grip on the tungsten with very little effort to tighten the collet body.

I've melted down 2 150 amp torches and I'm still using the first wedge collet. It's discolored but very functional. I'll never buy anything but again.

Same here. I think my 3/32" wedge collet is over two years old. The 1/16" might be even older.
