I have to weld 4130 Chromoly tubing to stainless steel plate.
If anyone could recommend what filler metal would be best to use, i'd appreciate it

4130 tube to 4130 plate with ER70-S2 would be better 
I hope this isn't a mounting plate for a cage are a high stressed joint. 4130 to stainless if I had to would use 309sli, 309l or 309 depending on application might refuse to do it.

why use standard nozzles after gas lens where invented. Kinda of like starting fires by rubbing sticks together.
