If you are sliding your hand at the table it is good to cut a piece of fire blanket, fold a few times and put that between hand and table. Makes movement soo much smoother.

Seen the pipe support I and others have built?
Great help when you can't slide right on the table.

When fusion welding I like to set pulse between 0,8-2 Hz.
Most people would probably advice to skip the pulse until more experienced to have fewer parameters to muck around with but that's your call.

Thanks for the advise, mate. Some kind of support is on the list, Anders. Just haven't got around to it yet. I do try to support my torch hand with the other hand when doing fusion welds like the ones above. Just need more practise I guess

I agree on keeping with the basics to start with. But it is kinda fun playing around with the machine and getting to know it.

I used to have a guy that worked for me that we called commodore...because he had very limited brain-power and his mind overloaded very easily. He's probably a boss somewhere now.

Those Commodore C64's had more power than one would think. I was heavily into them years ago when they were popular and I had mine connected to LT. Kernal SCSI hard drive(s) so it was lightning fast. I ran a BBS (bulletin board system) for years in Houston called "The Junction Box". I still have a closet full of Commodore stuff and have sold a ton of over the years. I even have my BBS and it still works but one drive is whining so it won't work forever. It was fun at the time and even though the early modems were 300 baud, I was able to run a 56K modem with a special interface which was the fastest modem at the time. Only one person could logon at a time as I only had one phone line. Only a Commodore user would recognize what "GOO" and "ACK" means.

Not much welding lately. Work has been calling. Therefore I spent some time in my office. Another good week though and I'll be back at the welding table

Long story. Here is the short version. Been doing this for almost 30 years. Was involved in a car accident in 85 as a passenger. Norwegian Air Ambulance came to pick us up. I guess that was when I decided to do this
