I have a housing made out of 356.0-T430 which has a crack in it.
Please help me select best filler rod for filling it up? Al 4043 or Al A356?
I was going to choose A356 because of similar composition and slightly higher strength properties. What do you guys think? Also remember this is a sand cast aluminum. I think A356 is heat treatable and 4043 isnt
