This is my creation, a small box blade to go behind a gator to level baseball infields. I made it from stuff in our scrap pile. The lift is from an electric dump bed.

Beautiful work, Rick,

I do wish I'd taken time to pay more attention to the (top-notch) sanitary welders when I was contracted to Herr & Sacco in PA... They did work for Hershey and M&M Mars, among others, and did absolutely amazing work.

Tried welding razor blades for the first time. All considered pretty happy with it. I should have gotten some mig wire, the 1/16 filler made this harder than it needed to be but the Dynasty arc is so damn sweet.

Second attempt at welding razor blades. Using an 040 electrode for the first time, and using 030 mig wire this time. Pretty happy with how it came out. I knew the edge would chew out and started backing off but not quite enough. So much easier to do with the small electrode, makes me want to try pop cans again.

Looks good, I always like to plate above the lower tq boxes and run bars down to them as well. The shock tower bar does a lot for the Mustangs flimsy chassis.

Through floor subs???

I did certainly did consider connecting to the lower TQ boxes. The placement of the main hoop would have made it kind of tricky. This is a drift car so they will not be subject to near the punishment of a drag car. The rear plates/ shock tower re-enforcement was much needed. The car has been converted to coilovers and the added stress on the rear shock towers was starting to separate the layers of unibody around them. It was quite alarming. I ended up rosette welding them through the floor right to the frame rails just to be safe

Also, no through floor connectors. To be honest I don't believe they comply with Formula drift regulations.

Just a little dice, 50x50mm squares, tacked up. Will be closed up with tig once I'm a lot better at it.
