I was thinking of getting one of these. If not, I would have to use a generator to power any other welder I would get. I am just starting the welding thing. Can either of these weld aluminum? Do they come with a foot pedal? Also, besides the gas stuff, wife, rods, gas and oil, what would I need to weld with either of these?

Wow what a loaded question.

What are you wanting too weld? Materials/thickness etc?
Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it.

As much as I could. Steel, stainless steel, aluminum and whatever else. Seems though that getting another welder would be smart. Someone on here suggested I not get a Bobcat as my first welder. I liked it because it has a great duty cycle and for the fact that it seems to be everything in one item.
