Those collets are for the short collet bodies that require the reverse collets. The short collet bodies are to short for the short collets and regular collets so you need the reverse collets. However you can use the reverse collets with other collet bodies. They are made for 9 and 17 style torches

this link gives you a diagram of parts for the 9 and 20 torches. If you scroll down you will see the short collet bodies. diagram shows what parts you need with bodies, collets, and cups etc etc

why use standard nozzles after gas lens where invented. Kinda of like starting fires by rubbing sticks together.
