TigFingerXL in action, and glad for it. Last two fingers in it, for a firm prop on a barely curved surface in 2G position, with many passes heating the metal. The XL is broad enough to hide my middle finger (traffic finger? ) behind.
CSC is "Corrosion Stress Cracking" of Ausinitic stainless steels. It's an effect of chlorides (salts, basically) on the intragranular structure of SS. Weld joints (as I cut off in the picture) are particularly succeptible due to grain segregation.
