Hello, i'm looking for tig welder and tools for welding car parts (aluminum and stainless steel). I can buy this tig welder http://maszynowy.eu/spawarka-inwertorow ... likon.html for 3400€. What you think about it, is it fine? What tools could you suggest to buy for rest money?

Hey,

Welcome to our forum. I believe that brand is quite good quality, i have seen some of their website whilst researching filler material.

For the rest of your money, firstly buy a decent autodarkening welding shield, being in Europe, a Speedglass Kempii Fronius Optrel or Esab one will do nicely, A small 100mm angle grinder and and assortment of grinding cutting sanding and polishing discs and you are ready to go. A further must have for ALUM is a STAINLESS STEEL wire brush, this must be only used on alum so it doesnt become contaminated. Lots of clamps of all different types.

Other that that, everything else is icing on the cake that you can purchase later on.

Just got myself Esab heliarc 283i, Incredible how smoooth arc it has, only test"drived" it for 1 night, but it feels so differend to my old "ims" chinese mahcine, MUCH better arc.

That looks like a kemppi 2300mls but in blue.must be a copy.
its about the same price too, id try to get the original

hm interesting, its really same machine? My friend who are selling me this said that the original one is more expensive.
What you think ,its the best tig welder which will be also mobile?

Its the same output,230 amps, and the exact same front panel, which is a unique one.
the price of them both is the same when you include VAT , or tax.
the kemppi has a very good reputation, but I have never used it.
if it was me, I would go for a EWM tetrix 220acdc, or save a bit more and get a fronius 2200.
but the 4 machines will all be of a similar high quality

i also thought about ewm tetrix 230(newer model), but is it better than kemppi 2300/or oerlikon 240 acdc ? Is it worth extra money to pay for ewm ?

I didn't know Oerlikon made a welder.

If it's as solid and reliable as their vacuum pumps, it's certainly worth a look. I use their vacuum pumps regularly, and they have well over 50,000 hours on them with oil-change every 1000 hours being the only maintenance.

Sorry, I meant the tetrix 230 also.
it is the same price as the kemppi/oerlikon

They sell a few models, their newest few look an exact copy of the kemppi line, so either built under licence or resold.
The only hesitation id have is, being French,their meaning of the word warranty is different than anyone else in the developed world.this isnt a slur on oerlikon, but the french in general
