I watched a demo at fabtech in Chicago last year. It's a modified hot wire feed Tig process. Uses a dynasty 350 Tig along with a small dc Tig inverter for a low current it the wire. But the kicker is vibration thingy that jiggles the wire to agitate the puddle And that is suppose to reduce surface tension in the puddle. Tip Tig booth had a ua pipefitter instructor demonstrating and he was pretty knowledgeable. It's a high end price tag but def worth looking at for pipe fab shops
