polishing SS post TIG

howdy all!
I am wrapping a smoker I recently built with SS. Tigging lap joint every 6", 1" long for some hinges. What is the best method/product to polishing the discoloration on the backside?

Hi,

There is a pickling agent that is sold at a welding supply store that removes the discoloration.
