hey, got a 06 cbr1000rr that I am putting a o2 sensor bung onto and wanting to know what yall think/would run your setting at? also filler for unknown stainless? Maybe a way to tell what type of stainless the exhaust is made of? I know I need to turn it up for the bung but worried about melting through the manifold pipe lol. Any tips?

Is the bung also stainless? If so, your exhaust is likely at least 304, so 308 would be fine. If either is carbon steel, use 309 or 312.

the one that was sent was mild steel but I purchased 2 stainless steel ones i figured 1 for practice lol. Im not sure where to start with amperage though, should i split the amps for the thickness of the bung and go laywire with a weave? I got 309l but I'm picking up some 308 from the shop tomorrow. Thinking I'm going to use either 1/16 or 3/32 2%lanth tungsten.

316-308-310-or 312. If it’s both SS. 309 if it’s carbon to SS. You only need to be hot enough to work with the thinner of the two metals.
I have more questions than answers
