Serial number JK669265
Picked this up from a brazing shop in NH yesterday. Came with a TIGer cooler, all leads, and a CK20 torch. When it was unhooked from the breaker box, it says 480V next to the jumpers. Found the schematic inside left cover and looked at it this morning. The way I see it they had it jumpered for 200V. Jumper on 1&2, and another on 5&6. Am I missing something?
Anyway, I need 230V to be able to use it in my shop. From what I see that means jumping pins 2&3, and 4&5 correct? Pins 1 and 6 are left unhooked to anything. Ready to hook up sometime this weekend but don't want to let any magic smoke out.
I saw this machine weld so I know it was working, just don't understand how they had the jumpers set up.
Thanks ahead of time.

The manual for that machine doesn't show the jumpers and refers the owner to the tag you found.
Post a pic of the tag and your question can be answered more easily.

This is how it was wired at the shop I bought it from.
This is what is on the schematic inside the welder, the same as what is in the Owner's Manual.
Suppose it's possible that they were using one leg of 3 phase for 200 VAC, and the machine was labeled from another owner previously that had 480VAC power?
Sorry, apparently my Android takes sideways pics, or the computer re-orients them for some reason. On my desktop they are upright.
Thanks

They were using 208 single phase. You will probably be fine if you run it off 208. 230 or 460 single phase are the other options. (You will need to move jumpers) . We run lots of single phase welders off of single phase, the only cautions are 1 if you do it off of a gfci breaker it will probably fault out. 2 you need to know if your 3 phase has a wild leg, and if so make sure your single phase unit isn’t on it.

Just measured my line voltage. I have 239VAC across a double breaker. From what I've read Miller is ok with 10%+/-. So...I need to move my jumpers by the looks.
Am I correct in seeing posts 2&3, and 4&5 jumpered for 230V?
Glad I don't have any Argon yet, I'd be so chomping at the bit to play with this machine. Stopped at Lowe's today and grabbed my 100A breaker along with some wire ends. Should be running Tuesday night with nothing getting in the way.
Thanks
