First whip and pause beads

I had my 3rd arc welding class today, and I worked on beads using the whip and pause technique on a Lincoln Invertec 300 with 1/8" 6010 at 75 amps. Other than running too cold ( welding instructor insisted) what do you guys think? I know I need to stack the puddles closer like in the bottom bead for starters.

Yeah I'd say they are too cold. Never used a Invertec 300, but on my Invertec V350-Pro I like to run 6010 on flat plate with the arc force set on +2.0.
These welds were made with my Everlast PowerArc 200, but you get the point. ;)

Lengthen your arc, a good starting point is about 1/8". Also since you are just getting started keep your rod pretty much perpendicular to the plate.

Jody has a few good videos on 6010.
I was told a good rule of thumb is each whip up and back to the puddle should only take about a second. Don't know if it's true or not, but seemed to work for me.
