I just picked up a brand new cst 280. I got it at such a deal that I'm pretty ecstatic. Anyway, I just hooked it up and laid down some beads. Seems to be a nice machine. I plan on using it for pipe welding. Not sure I would ever use the tig function as it is pretty plain Jane. I guess in a pinch it might come in handy. I was just curious if anyone has any experience welding pipe with this model and what their thoughts were.
