Seen this posted on another forum I read but not a member of. I thought it was a pretty informative video on arc blow

The Story of Alternating Current Arc Welding - 19…: http://youtu.be/CW7I-ymfINU

I don't know much about or use stick welding so most stick guys sure familiar with this but some starting out might find it interesting or get you thinking.
why use standard nozzles after gas lens where invented. Kinda of like starting fires by rubbing sticks together.

Yes AKweldshop I was at WW I read a few of the things over there and see a lot of our guys there also but never signed up to much drama and peeing matches over there in my opinion. That's why I joined WTaT took me awhile after a lot of lurking but the conversations over here seem lot more helpful to those seeking advice or having troubles then what I see at WW.

These are great videos!! I love that blast from the past. Sometimes I wish I could have lived back in the "old" days. But.....then I wouldn't have all this new welding technology.

Its a great view of the past, really shows why we have the safety systems we have today.

Neat old videos. A lot of fun to watch and some good info. The quality of the arc shots was surprisingly good.
