Welding Tips and Tricks

I have one Lorch welding machine like in title and i need some help
i have a schematic and part list from partner.lorch.biz but these is a general schematic of Lorch ISI 5CL like these in photo
my invertor don't have the pcb or something underside of front case like these in photo.
In attached photo, in front of case are 2 potentiometer one for current and another one like thermal switch.
I need photo of this pcb or back side of front case with connection of potentiometer and indicator leds.

This is my inverter.
I don't known what is missing from the backside of front panel.
From photo of big pcb you can see a empty connector with five wires.
Some wires go to 230/400v switch and another 3 wires go to 725.1348.0. pcb.
I need a internal photo backside of a front panel if anyone has one.

I've never seen a welder quite like that. Does it work at all? Is it possible that the plug is for an unused option that your welder didn't have to start with?

True it's a restoration .I have another old small Mini weld 130A inverter by E.W.S. and a classical AC toroidal welding transformer but this it's to powerfull to my 230 line and can use with 4/5mm electrode without problem He has a 4 steps from 28/29v, 49v, 56v, 64v and 200 ampers on second step...who known on last one..i don't try in this

OK, good. At least you can still weld while we try to get the Lorch mystery solved.

You are right. I can welding anything with thickness and if i need to weld a small steel or aluminium i don't. I'm awayting a respons next week from a dealers of lorch in my country.

After an e-mail discussion with a HELPDESK@lorch.eu, I realized that there would be another pcb-level manual service for those inverter component modules relative to that handbook in German but he haven’t the permission to send out detailed electrical schematics of the pcb’s...so i think the only chance is to find another persons who have this machine and to make a photo of this missing pcb 650.5130.0 pc-board GLE, an tomake a schematic from this photo

The current lineup of Lorch are very nice power supplies. Hope you get it figured out and repaired..

For moment i can't make him, because i don't find this module at good price. At a local dealers of lorch in my country the price of module is ~450E with TVA. At this price it's not oportunity to make him.
I think the last chance is to find a user who have this model machine and to make a good photos of this module from side/back side of a pcb and to make a reverse engineering.

Due to obsolescence, sometimes it’s time to abandon not so old machines.

I suggest you to give a call during holidays, even in large companies you can sometime join a higher ranked person that way, one that can afford to send you detailed manual of sketch of a disrupted model, of that will try to help you as it is not its primary function.

I think ..i have to wait some time and to find one with another probleme and to take this module

I'm searching for the schematic/diagram of this module or to buy another one from a defective machine.
