Update: 3/32" 6011 @ 45A AC 3F downhill outside corner on 1/4" hot roll.

I like this rod. I think I have a crush on this rod. Pointers and tips appreciated, I know it ain't perfect, but I really like it so far. That raining fire is the perfect therapy.

Looks like your tack on the top didn't hold...

As for the amps on a 1/8" 7018 rod, I think my welding wonder from 1965 doesn't even start a weld at 90 amps... At least not without sticking. I like it more at 110-125 amps. I do sway from side to side but no whipping.
