I recently bought an idealarc 250 lincoln round top, mid 70's vintage. Machine was about to be "scrapped" by PO who acquired it fom widow of elderly neighbor and welder a few years earlier. PO said they had used it at the prior older guys shop the week before he passed, although he never used it at his farm ( flux core guy). It only cost me $86 bucks ( honest to GD asking price)and a 40 minute drive. The 25' leads were beyond dry rotted, and in fine amateur style..I promptly shattered both outer black plastic
( bakelite?) Insulating washers..inner are fine. Also I t☆tty twisted the sh☆t out of the left sides copper strap by rotating the copper threaded stud. ( oops). 2 questions..#1 source of vintage dielectric style washers, 1/2"× 2" or these exact replacement parts? ( washer is 2" diameter 1/4 thick brittle hard black plastic with square-ish center hole..matching the square-ish hole in the machine steel cabinet face). #2.. can I straighten and salvage the copper ...strap thingy inside,, allowing some split edges..or can I run a copper heavy wire 1/0 jumper with copper end lugs, OR must I find the exact replacement part?? Help. I am getting nowhere online. Thanks all.

Question #3, can I get a schematic on either an inexpensive Time Machine( for obvious reasons), OR one for a Parts diagram and list for this unit? 1974-75 lincoln 250-250 / idealarc ac/dc ,code no ='74
Cheers

Ok two things not there in pics..a No.5 Acetylene tank..12" diameter ( now I'm not afraid of my rosebuds) $50, and a Evolution 9" Steel 5 metal cutting circ saw $200. Saw the Evo circ @ Airgas and fell in love ($450) a few months later one popped up on CL NIB. Ok 50 ain't so bad now...
