I walk into the shop today and my wife had dug out a half build horseshoe cactus sculpture I started a while back and the customer had backed out of the order and she was going to finish it and try to sell it. I looked at it and it was bent pretty bad and that is what triggered the conversation:
Me: How did you bend that, those were high quality 6013 welds?!?
Wife: 6013's suck!
Gotta love her.

John,
Notice Matt did not say broke he said bent. I get to discuss things with my wife but it is usually one sided when it comes to technical or theory. Although she probably knows more about welding than alot of wife's.
I actually was working inside of a testing tank this week and wished I had some 6013 for the sheet metal. I will say it again, a true weldor can use ALL electrodes available to them. (Let the debating begin, again )
Matt,
Lets see your art!!

It's always best to build your own, especially when it comes to hitches!!!

Matt,
It looks like you better do some welding on that T-111 siding before your shed is gone.
Len
P.S. Tell the little woman, Nice stuff.

Thanks! That's my parents shed, they just put a new roof on it and are working on converting it into a wood working shop. My grandpa built it over 30 years ago and they are trying to keep it.
