hi guys
iv seen a few post on stick pipe so thought id post some pics of some pipe welds i did a few years ago.some may have seen these before on other forums that im a member off.
5G 12" pipe to elbow ,tig root 2.4mm er70s6 4mm gap feather edge 130 amp,
hot pas 2.5mm 7018 90-100 amp
fill/cap 3.2 (1/8)125-130 amp.

12" pn16 flange rolled (welded at 3 oclock position)first pass ,3.2mm 7018 dragged at around 120 amp,second pass 3.2mm 7018 blocked out at around 130 amp.

Your welds look great but the way your tie ins look is how mine look and my tests are failing because of my tie ins! How can i make the tie in smoother!?
