Started with some 6010 used 3/32 and 1/8 tried all sorts of variables. From down around 65 amps up to 130 with both. Had the arc force up between 5 to 10. Not great with this rod but that's kinda what I've seen others say about the 6010 with this machine. It would drop out the arc occasionally. You can see all the stop spots. I was able to run a few beads that went the full 6 in. With the 3/32 at about 95 amps arc force about 7.
Finished out the plate with 6011 1/8 in. First time for me with the 6011. Started out down around 80 amps tried it up to about 130. Tried adjusting the arc force fron about 2 all the way to 10. There are a few good runs just short of the edge at about 97 amps with arc force at 5. Other than that it was about the same as the 6010. It would drop the arc for a split second but if you stayed steady it would just start back up.
Switched to 6013 1/8 in first time for this rod for me too. Wasn't sure how hot to start. But found at 80 amps the slag came up nice. Could definitely see that it's not a deep penetrating rod. Bumped up to around 90-92 amps and felt good about it. At about 100 amps the slag came off a but harder but not bad.
