need to replace my centruy wire welder, looking at either Hobart spoolrunner 100 vs miller 211. miller has the auto set feed but is it a gemick or bill deal? 120volt is important.
does anybody have or worked with both and have a opion ?

Use a 211 at high school and the auto set is actually pretty good. I've had no trouble with the machine.

On most machines I’ve used, Autoset gets you close (sometimes) but experience is still required to know whether it’s right or not.

Both of the Miller and Lincoln dual voltage MIG units are the real deal, (I know you didn't ask about Lincoln) I have the Lincoln 180 dual voltage at work and have used it with FCAW-s wire, works great. Have talked with, and read on this forum, others who have used and like the Miller as well.
