Hello everyone, just signed up here, but if anyone is doing any grinding on aluminum, you have to try the Plantex Tiger shark flap discs, when used with the Kanguru oil,it is amazing, virtually no load up,and fast material removal, they also have discs for stainless, and regular steel, and the price point is about half of the cost of the best discs on the market! The Kanguru oil also works when drilling, and using a burr,so anyhow check this stuff out, works really good!

To me this is borderline spam. Thoughts?

How do you get spam from an honest product review,it's good stuff at the right price, and I see tons of people asking how to keep discs from loading up and,how to keep burrs and drill bits clean, this is why I try to stay away from forums, some people just don't appreciate it when someone passes along info!Just saying,I tried some stuff, didn't work that great, this stuff worked good, sorry it offended you!

My thoughts?

I think this is the "product reviews" area, and that's what I read. There wasn't even a hyperlink, so if the product interests you, you have to do your own legwork.

Perfectly legit, and within the rules.

I think the response was based on the fact that this was his first post here. Pretty much looked as an ad to my eyes too. Then he started posting some projects. Done the opposite and the grinding post would probably have been read differently.

Fair enough. By the time I saw this, the project posts were up, and I didn't compare posting times. It fit within the rules, regardless, but as an "only post" I get the suspicion.

Like I said I'm new here,I am an hvac specialist by trade,so I am on other forums,I know you don't usually talk prices,or spam anyone,I just thought the product was worth it's salt, that's all,if it helps someone out great, but I do understand, your concern, thanks for being understanding! P.S,as a first post it had to be pre-a proved before it even made it up on the board!I will learn how to do this eventually!

No harm done at all.
Now when you have shown your projects youre part of the family here and won't be questioned again if posting product reviews. 8-)

I am in snowy New York state, and I am pretty sure they are made in Germany, that was kind of a selling point also, have quite a few items made there and seem pretty solid, the Kanguru grinding oil,has anot her name on it but really hard to pronounce, but defiantly German!
