I have cut a few tons of carbon steel but have never tried thin aluminum. Had a customer that needed some 42" long strips cut 1- 5/8 wide and a 4" diameter half circle on one end for something they were doing. So I set the material (customer furnished) on the table with work parameters at 25A, 160IPM, pierce at .09, cut at .06 and lit up on it. The cut looked like a shear had done it. Happy customer! Out the door before I could get a pic of them.
