Hello again, I was wondering if anybody has any input on a good plasma cutter. I am still new to the welding scene, but I enjoy doing projects and fabrication. I would be cutting steel for making decorative signs and ornamental things so i wouldnt be cutting anything heavier than 1/4inch plate. So what do you guys think? thanks steve

I've gotten good results from Thermal Dynamics products.
They can't be very expensive; My boss bought two, and he's so tight you couldn't drag a needle out of his ass with a tractor!

thanks for the input im looking into the Everlast pp50,thermal dynamics cutmaster 42 or Hypertherm 30. It seems these machines are pretty good, but im a little weary about where you get supplies for everlast besides on the web. I prefer to use my lws for my consumables. but damn the price is right for the everlast and jody seems to like them too (I saw a couple videos). dicisions
but keep the input coming thanks steve

I bought a ESAB 650 about 8 years ago. I have used them all and the ESAB uses let consumables than any I have used. I do a lot of restorations of old cars and trucks so I have had it in some tight places and cut through some dirt and grease. The head is a lot smaller than most giving you a lot of options when you need to use it in tight places. A great plasma cutter and gives a great cut. I paid around $1600 for it and the thing hasn't given me one problem. If I had to buy one again today.... It would be a ESAB no ?
