I've always been curious how hazardous hand filing dust/shavings are. I'm not even sure the by products of filing are called dust or filings, but you get the idea.
Obviously grinding dust, belt dust, wheel dust, etc is horrible for the lungs and that is why we wear respirators. Are there any risks to filing? I've never really worried about it but I was curious.
I don't think that hand filing can be hazardous for the respiratory system.
