I have been working on cutting some parts out of brass, I have two Tables my torchmate has a water table, and my plasma Cam is just a standard down draft. I have been using the torchmate with 40 amp consumables Lincoln 625, at 40 amps and 85 psi of air. The brass is .125 in I have tried all kinds of speeds 43 IPM cuts ok but I would have thought 70 to 80 IPM would be better, but know matter what I do it cuts a little jagged. Just looking for anyone who has had success cutting brass and the settings. trial and error is not a good method with brass.
