Hey welders! I will be starting a welding academy college program for my senior year of high school. I don't have welding experience so I'd love for someone to respond and just give me a few tips and/or things to expect going into this. I've never thought about doing welding before until I watched my father's co-worker weld a few months ago. I guess you could say my interest was "sparked" at that point. Again, any tips or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!
Sincerely, Hunter.

Always ask questions. Learn every thing you can. Be on your teachers good side because they can give reccomendations for anything.
A student now but really want to weld everyday. Want to learn everything about everything. Want to become a knower of all and master of none.

Ask your questions.
Pay attention.
Don't say "Well this is how soandso showed me".
Do what they tell you to do.
When you think you got it right, do it again!
