Hi All,
Short intro : I am a TIG welder, learned it myself, I do use a Cebora I believe 1635 a nice MMA/TIG welder up to 180Amps (never used 180A). I do have MMA experience which is very nice to combine with TIG in cases were it is windy and very important where it is almost impossible to clean the back of the weld properly ie heating pipes ..
And yes : I do use a pedal which improved my TIG welding skills significantly: guessing the proper current setting is in the beginning the hardest part to master because it is purly based on experience : kind of the chicken and the egg problem
Right now TIG welding cast iron with bronze which looks promissing. Next thing to try out is to use a combination of brazing with flux using a TIG DC welder: that is going to be quite interesting and after that I want to try TIG weld aluminium using a 4043? MMA rod.
Have a nice day and Jody keep up the very nice work: I have watched a lòt of video's of you.
Cheers
