I'm returning to the craft of welding after many years in other work and vocations. I currently use a small Lincoln 120V MIG machine at a custom car building shop to assist with installations of front and rear suspension systems on various older (1930's-1970's) cars and pick up trucks. It mostly consists of boxing frames, installing custom firewalls and other sheet metal repairs. The eventual goal is to get into a local full time Welding school for instruction in all aspects of metal welding and one day ply the craft at my home based workshop. Thanks for all the interesting and helpful tips on the site. I look forward to contributing when I can.
