Hi everyone, Greetings from Colorado. I just purchased a Hobart 210 MVP. I'm pretty new to welding and getting started kind of late in life, wish me luck!

Welcome!

There are several other here starting out "late in life", some taking up welding in their retirement.

This is a great place to pick up the tricks that make it easier, and the knowledge to make it make sense.

Thanks guys. My dad had a fab shop in the mid seventies so I think when I was six or seven I could lay a better bead then as I spent my summers with that old buzz box just laying them down, never pursued it after that but several times since I've wished I would have paid attention and kept at it. I guess now is my second chance. : )
