Hello from South Texas

Just saying hello. I'm wanting to weld things for myself. Dad taught my two brothers how to weld, but somehow I was missed. I guess it has something about being an design engineer in life. I do own a small Hobart 180 MIG welder and a Chinese 3 in one juice box which I haven't really done anything with other than fire it up and see it burn a rod or two. My son has played with it a little too. I am very familiar with some of the different welding codes and have written several procedures over the years, too. So, welding in general is not new to me, just the actual practice of welding itself I want to learn.
Thanks, Ken

Welcome, Ken! What part of TX are you? I have a lot of relatives down around Corpus, and in the Rio Grande Valley.

Welcome to the forum! What types of welding/welds are you interested in doing? Or are you just a seeker? Welcome aboard!
Gary
