Howdy all,
Just thought I'd say hello before I start posting in earnest. I've been watching and enjoying Jody's videos. The man is wonderful. No such thing as a night time welding course, or even a short course up here. Semi regional smallish sort of place, closest city is an hour's flight or 8 hour drive, so as much as I want to, a short course is tough, not to mention Im already studying and working full time, so time is a factor too.
I've been managing to Kay a few quality beads, but am having trouble eating material with my stick, but I will leave that for another thread. The stick I mainly got to learn tig, but they had no torches so I figured I would play with some MMA until I get the gas and torch I need to start completely sucking at another type of welding
They do say it only takes 10,000 hours of practice to master anything, so I guess that's only 30,000 hours to master stick, tig and mig
