Hi All,
Just joined and looking forward to sharing all the trick I know I will be learning.
I Originally got certified back in 1978 as part of my scooling and loved it. Certification was on aluminum, titanium, magnesium, stainless, steel and iron. While I was going to school I had a job working in the FAB shop at the airport, so not only did I get a chance to weld but learned almost everything on repairing larger aircraft.
Even got a chance to learn sheet metal fabrication. They used me all over because I could measure and read prints; wasn't bad except on real hot days reparing turbo prop engines.
Everything I learned has served me well and use SOMETHING almost every day.
