What was the problem last time? Jerks?

Glad to be around people who can see welding as a passion.

Some very bad things going on in my life, not many left in my family now. I'm one who is in a dangerous occupation exposed to deadly chemicals, fumes and other risks on the job, yet I'm the one coming home to an empty house. My head was in a bad place for a long time because it doesn't make sense, I was going to chuck in the towel and go bush. My customers and colleagues wanted to keep me working, I must be nuts cause I'm still here when I could be fishing & hunting and bashing cans of Tooheys down my neck.
Anyway I checked in here a few times and thought hey I could answer some of these questions so decided come back here too.

Coldman,
Welcome back! What happened to your status? Looks like you started over with a new account. I am glad you didn't give in the towel.

I think I have to agree to hold off on my bbq humor before I get my status back.

That can happen when you go walkabout... come home, and everything's been rooted through like wild pigs, and you start from scratch...

Seriously, I think your old status exists, and we can restore it...

If you care. Or we can let it ride.

Welcome back!

I say we give his status back, he worked on it and deserves it. My opinion.

I'll have to dig. If I recall, his request was a complete expungement (though that may have been someone else...it's been a minute).

Nope.

No dice.

His previous profile is completely gone.

That's alright. Those "rankings" don't mean much, and we all know who he is.

If you saw some of the welds I'm doing right now you probably would agree.
I'm welding 1/8"npt nipples to 1/4"bspp sockets because apparently that's the only way we can get yanks and poms together round here.

Welcome back mate!

I'd had wondered where you went. :)
Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it.
