Hello everyone, names Jay. I started welding in high school, did about 3 years of that. Took some college welding night classes while in high school and a few more after graduation. After I took some out of state work and drifted away from welding for a couple years. Now im back at the same college, come to find out i only need 3 more classes for my Combo cert so im taking 2 this semester and the final one next semester. Currently taking Advanced SMAW and intermediate pipe. Took my first test yesterday open v groove 1g position. Scored a 92. Tomorrow i will be taking my 2g test. Seems like a great forum. Looking forward to all the help i could possibly get from you guys. Thanks!

Jay,
As to your 92 on the test I say "All hail Jay". I'm sure you've never heard that before.
