Hi everyone, I'm from California I've been welding for about 12 years in industrial, architectural, manufacturing, and boat yard repair fields. I'm always looking for new tips and tricks where ever I can so that I can continue to get better as a welder/fabricator. I came across Jody's videos on youtube which brought me to this site where I'm excited to learn new things from all of you. I'm looking forward to chatting it up with everyone, good luck in all your ventures.

Welcome, migsvasquez,

Many of the more experienced welders here have a "varied" background like yours. I think it gives us a perspective that helps when someone asks a question; A hobby welder may ask a question about his project, and get answers from thirty different backgrounds, and somewhere in there (or a combination) makes the best answer for that person's project.

I always like architectural work, combining form with function, because there's an artistic element along with the skills challenge.
