hi all, an Englishman here.
years ago, 25 nearly I started my time served apprenticeship as a plater fabricator, after 5 years my mentor told me I could now call myself a welder, then the company laid off most of its staff when the work market dropped out, I joined the armed forces and didn't touch a welder for 15 years, since leaving I've been driving heavy trucks and producing small parts for the off road motorsport market, been getting back into welding and fabrication for the last year, taken a refresher course and slowly gaining my tickets.

Welcome!!
Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it.
