Hi, and thanks for allowing me to join and learn from all of you. I'm no expert at welding, but I have blasted a lot of 6011 into a huge sailboat cradle and a couple trailers. Love that old AC 225 Buzz Box for sure!!

I just picked up an Lincoln Weldanpower AC/DC 225 6 and will be restoring it to serviceable condition soon. Very excited about it, and my new forum HERE with you guys! Thank you!

I got a AC225 at 13years old, Learned on it, and then got a DC machine, and can make welds like this

You need to get some 1/8 7018 and set that machine at 140amps, get some scrap 1/4 in steel, and get practicing....
Good luck,
~John
Just a couple welders and a couple of big hammers and torches.

Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it.
