Hi there, Just wanted to take a moment to say hello. I came across this site a few years ago while doing some welding research! It has been my go to site ever since! I love Jodies vids, and the abundance of information buried in the site! I am an electrician by trade, but I love to dabble in all the trades! If I have the tools, or can make the tools, I will usually attept the job! I love building things from any type of material. I have always been interested in welding, and enjoy building old dirtbikes and atc's aswell, so it seemed a no brainer to teach myself to weld. I have completed a bunch of cool projects with mig, stick and fluxcore. I recently scored another bottle, so I got some argon to try my hand at tig on some steel! I am very excited to start practicing!! Just waiting on torch adapter to hook it to the maxstar, and I will be up and running!! I have read and watched everything tig related on this site atleast twice!! I also have a few nice old books on the way that should provide ample reading material! Between work and family I have alot less time to practice than I would like, but I plan to give it hell!! Hopefully one day I will be good enough, and motivated enough to upgrade to an ac compatible machine so I can fix all these old busted motor cases I have!! Seems like a good bunch of guys around here, and I look forward to having you guys help me through some trials and tribulations! Thanks for reading!!
