After reading and learning from the forum and videos over the last few months, I though it was time I joined.

I am a hobby welder and have been MIG welding for about 13 years now with a Miller 210 and a Spoolmate 3035 spool gun. I decide to give TIG welding a try this spring and just love it. I found a good deal on a used Miller Diversion 180 to get started on. It didn't take long to discover that I wanted (not needed) a more full featured machine, so I recently bought a water cooled HTP Invertig 221. I really like it and of course now I have discovered stick welding.

My next purchase will be a plasma cutter. On and on it goes......

Amazing, how when one tool works really well, you want the next, "better" one?

Welcome!

It's a good thing that hobbies don't have to make sense! It won't make me a better welder, but it sure is fun!

Thanks for the welcome.
