Hi everyone, quick thanks to jody for the videos and tips and advice on the site.
Very useful indeed.
Started welding gal grain silos and cattle feeders about 15 years back, did a stint on coal mining onsite repairs and also in the marine industry repairing sunken vessels.
Never did an apprenticeship only sat my stick mig and tig 1 to 4 and a lot of other modules long forgotten.
Currently at tafe attempting a boilermaker ticket by rpl after 6 years away from the workshop, finding it difficult to get my eye back in especially after discovering my eyesight is 1.5 magnification out for reading and never worn glasses before.
Learning how not to weld by brail.
Look forward to learning from everyone and hoping to be able to offer some advice with how to deal with welding rusted vessels.
