Hi Guys,
I was directed to you by a guy from Welding Web. I'm new to welding so he told me there is a wealth of knowledge here. I just bought a new welder so I think it's time to learn how to use it. Thank you all for making this forum possible.

Welcome to the site Mossy! Image
What kind of welder did you buy?
Go break something, then you can weld it back the right way.

Thanks Guys. I bought a Miller 211. Sure wish I knew how to weld now but I figured it was a good starter machine.

Sounds good Mossy. If you haven't found it already stop by http://www.weldingtipsandtricks.com/ for videos on any welding process you want info about. Jody is a great no B.S. welder that explains things well and is easy to understand.

Good luck with your new toy!

Mossy, I moved your question over to the MIG and Flux-core sub-forum, where you'll get more responses (and added one of my own).
