Hello, my name is Lyle I'm a native Alaskan and 29, life moved me to upstate New York then West Virginia where I graduated high school. I spent 5 years in the Marines, they moved me all around Asia and America, I got out in 2015 settled down with my wife back in West Virginia. Once out I got a job climbing, fixing, maintaining, modifying, and installing upgrades on radio/tv towers up too 1500+ feet all across the country. My brother is a certified welder in Alaska which helped me open my eyes to the skill. Also learning how to weld helps with my job also adds in the comfort of job security. I started learning a little over a year ago, by the time I made my first bead I was hooked. Aside from welding for job (other than fabricating in the shop I run mostly vertical 7018 1/8 rods) I'm trying to set up a side gig with my wife building steel frames for furniture, some maintenance/repair, and common but unique house hold items. I'm open to all suggestions business or welding techniques. Also I do have an Instagram page ( eph_welding ) thank you for reading!
