Hobby welder with new HTP 221 Invertig. Found TNT on utube with other welding sites and always looking for the simple tips for better garage time.

Welcome. Did you just get your 221 recently or you had it already? What kind of stuff you welding?

Sent you a PM if you want to join the HTP Group Chat I created on WhatsApp.

Welcome!

You lucky dog to have an HTP. I wanted one, but finance was not on my side...I may end up with one eventually, time will tell.

I have built metal railings, driveway gates, some outside storage from steel and had it galvanized. Home improvement basically with a 40 yr old Miller econotwin. No thermal protection and shorted the main transformer spend too much school time welding aluminum in the shop. Shop junky forever- before women were invented even. Before that it was dirt bike riding and it still is.
I'll see if I can get some pics up from the box computer. Desktop is almost bigger than the HTP.

Thank you. Will submit some pictures when I figure it out. Not using the CP so it's google photos to the forum. Looks similiar to my KTM forum. The owner has a very basic site and google is a very basic freeby. Found the upload attachments tab. Looks like 640 works fine.

Home project now more than 25 yrs old. 13 ft swinging gate with man door uses Liftmaster opener. I hope never to get this involved in a scratch project again.
