Does anyone use a flapper disc for sharping tungsten? if so, what grit would you recommend? I noticed Jody mentioned using one in his video, but was curious about his thoughts vs spending 350 on a sharpie grinder?

If you were to use a flap disk, sharpening a tungsten from brand-new would work fastest with a coarse grit to get it to shape fast, but then a fine grit would get a better surface finish. Catch 22

I sharpen my tungstens on a belt sander, 80 grit. I never bother with worrying about not contaminating the sanding belt...I use it for everything. Works fine.
