Hello. My name's Ryan. I'm a welder/fabricator at a tool and die shop in Detroit. Mostly hardened D and A-2 tool steels with some of the W's and others thrown in. I also do lots of weld build up and manual form change on prototype kirksite dies. Tons of in house fabrication along with all my co-workers broken lawn chairs, flag poles, and lawn tractors. I used to be an aerospace prototype welder mostly aluminum and inconel but I got out of that a few years ago.
I'm excited to learn what I can from more knowledgeable folks. Thanks for the add!
